Before/After School (Extra-Curricular) Programs

NOTE: These programs are available to registered ArtsCalibre Academy students only.  Further information and online registration for our separate Community Programs (open to the general public) can be found here.

ArtsCalibre Academy provides high quality Before/After School Care as well as specialized classes for our registered students, at a very affordable $8.50 per hour.  Before School Care runs from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM daily (or 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM), taking students right up to the start of our regular class schedule.  After School Care runs from 3:00 PM (regular class dismissal) to 5:00 PM daily.  The specialized classes listed on our Extra-Curricular Registration Form run from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at our Middle/High School campus.

Under the supervision of our outstanding staff, After School Care provide students with opportunities to socialize and "synergize" with their friends and classmates in a safe, positive environment outside of our regular classes.  Students are invited to engage in any appropriate individual or group activity — including but not limited to:

  • quiet study/collaboration on assignments or Fine Arts activities
  • reading, board games or sports
  • student-created/led clubs
  • participation in Community Programs classes where available (see above) or specialized classes.

Online Registration for 2023/2024 Term 1 is NOW AVAILABLE!  Just go to our Extra-Curricular Registration Form to book everything for your children.  Payment options include popular credit cards including Visa and MasterCard, as well as Interac e-Transfer.

Registration Deadlines for the 2023/2024 school year:

  • Term 1  (September 11th, 2023 to January 26th, 2024) — Friday, September 8th, 2023
  • Term 2  (January 29th to June 21st, 2024)                    — Wednesday, January 24th, 2024

Please Note: Our extra-curricular program fees are not eligible for the Ministry of Children and Family Development's Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) program.  They are, however, considered tax deductible child care expenses on your annual income tax return.  Email us at extra-curricular@artscalibre.ca to request official tax receipts for that purpose.
