Our Policies

Registration and Monthly Fee Payments

To register, please complete our Registration Form and mail it with your non-refundable $225.00 registration fee to:

Submitting a registration form and fee will initially secures a spot for your child for the requested school year.  Upon receiving your registration form and fee, we will contact you.  At this point we will:

  • Review your registration and confirm eligibility
  • Provide you with all remaining forms to be completed, e.g. medical history, emergency contacts, etc., and
  • Answer any questions you may have regarding our program.

In order to confirm registrations and enable us to plan staffing for each new school year, September tuition fees are due prior to March 15th, and are non-refundable.  We will send you timely email reminders of this important date.

Following this, post-dated monthly cheques (dated the first of each month) for October through June are due by September 1, 2019 for the 2019/2020 school year.  An optional, convenient Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) plan is also available— please contact us for details and set-up.  Our monthly tuition fees include the cost of all supplies.

A $40 fee will apply to all NSF cheques or returned PADs, which must be replaced promptly.  Failure to do so will result in the removal of your child from the program.  Following a second NSF cheque, ArtsCalibre will require certified cheques or money orders for the remainder of the school year.

Program Withdrawal

Written notice is required in order to withdraw your child from the program.  All post-dated payments falling beyond one month of the notification date will be refunded in full.

Discipline

We use positive methods of discipline that encourage self-control, self-direction, self-esteem and cooperation.  Physical or emotional punishment is never used.

Pick-up and Drop Off

Parents and guardians are required to drop off and pick up their children.  Children should not be dropped off any earlier than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of class and must be picked up no later than 10 minutes after the end of class.

Under no circumstances will we allow a child to be picked up by anyone other than those identified in the Registration Form completed as part of the registration process.

Miscellaneous

Children must be toilet trained and should be able to dress themselves (e.g. put on coat, shoes, etc) with minimal or no assistance.

Parents must provide a snack for their child for each class.  Peanuts are not permitted due to potential allergies.
