Our Program and Class Schedule
ArtsCalibre offers preschool programs as follows:
* For the 2010/2011 school year, your child must have reached this age by the end of December 2010; similarly for 2011/2012.

Our programs run from September through June each year, and basically follow the Greater Victoria School District calendar and holiday schedule. However, unless otherwise specified on our School Calendar, ArtsCalibre is OPEN on the "non-instructional" (Professional Development) days scheduled by the District and our host Quadra Elementary School. Availability
As of July 22, 2010:

- 3 Year Olds program
- 1 spot available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings
- 7 spots available on Friday mornings
- 4 Year Olds program

- Waiting List is SHORT and OPEN to new placements — please contact us for details.
- 3 Year Olds program
- For the 2011/2012 school year
- Several spots are still available in both 3 Year Olds and 4 Year Olds programs.
Our Fees
Regular monthly fees for our preschool programs above are:
2 Classes per Week: $150
3 Classes per Week: $225
4 Classes per Week: $300
5 Classes per Week: $375
— This works out to under $7.50 per hour of instruction!
These fees are all-inclusive and represent the total cost of tuition — there are no taxes or any additional fees for supplies, activities, etc (beyond the optional Extended Hours below).
Note that ArtsCalibre Academy's preschool fully participates in the British Columbia Child Care Subsidy Program to offset the cost of tuition for eligible families.

Extended Hours
For the convenience of working parents, ArtsCalibre also offers extended hours as follows:
- 3 Year Olds — 8:00 AM - 11:40 AM daily
(1 hour 10 minutes earlier) - 4 Year Olds — 12:45 PM - 4:30 PM daily
(1 hour 15 minutes later)
— for an extra monthly cost of $40 per class (or roughly $8.00 to $8.50 per hour) in addition to the regular monthly fees above. For example: If your child is attending 3 classes per week, add 3 X $40 = $120 to the $225 regular monthly fee, for a total monthly fee of $345.
Note that unlike regular classroom hours, extended hours are non-instructional — but ArtsCalibre staff fully supervise, support and participate in the individual and group play of the children present.
